President’s Scholar Award
Southern Methodist University offers full tuition scholarships based on academic merit and community service to admitted first year students. Applicants need a 3.3 GPA to be considered and to renew for later years.
C. Ed Davis PAL Scholarship
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services offers two C. Ed Davis PAL Scholarships for youth who aged out or were legally emancipated of the DFPS foster care. Applicants must major in law, government, political science, history or pre law.
Hershel M. Rich Invention Award
The Hershel M. Rich Invention Award of $7,500 each goes to up to two Rice Engineering students or faculty members who have invented or developed an original invention. Nominations for the award are submitted by academic programs.
Highest Ranking Graduate Program
The Texas Highest Ranking Graduate program provides a tuition waiver for the student graduating at the top of their high school class for their freshman year of college. Recipients get free tuition during their freshman year at a TX public college or university. Click to learn more and apply today!
Youth Empowerment Schoalrship
The scholarship is awarded to enable young people who are, or have been, in the care of, or looked after by the State of Texas, to access and succeed in higher education and to provide financial help to young people who have grown up in out of home care. The application deadline is the date set by the Committee of each year.
AGCO BNSF Railway Foundation FFA $1,000 Scholarship
BNSF Railway is focused on making a difference in the communities where our employees live, work and volunteer. This Foundation is giving one scholarship to award to members from the following states: California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Texas. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
