Notah Begay III Scholarship Program
This award is available for U.S. graduating high school seniors who have been residents of New Mexico for one year or more and attend a New Mexico high school. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, be Native American with a blood quantum of 25 percent or more, and participate in high school varsity-level sports.
New Mexico Higher Education Department Graduate Scholarship Program
Graduate residents of New Mexico who are enrolled at public New Mexico postsecondary institutions are eligible for this award. Preference will be given to students from under-represented backgrounds.

New Mexico undergraduate or graduate students who have been awarded a Vietnam campaign medal for services in Vietnam during the period of Aug. 5, 1964 to the official termination of the Vietnam conflict are eligible for this award.
