The Better Business Bureau Serving Western Michigan wants to reward students of certain counties in Michigan in their pursuit of higher education. The Trust Award Scholarship is available to high school seniors iwith a GPA of 2.5 of higher. Students must prepare a 800-1,000 word essay. Michigan First Scholarship Competition – College Division
This scholarship competition is open to current undergraduate and graduate students who are or become members of Michigan First Credit Union and are 17 to 25 years of age. Students must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher and submit a video.
Michigan First Scholarship Competition – High School Division
This scholarship competition is open to high school seniors who attend high school in Michigan or are Michigan First Credit Union members attending high school anywhere in the U.S. Students must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher, and submit a video or essay.
ACCE (Automotive & Composites Divisions) Scholarship – Michigan Students
This scholarship is open to U.S. and international college juniors and seniors and graduate students who attend school in Michigan. Students must be pursuing a degree in polymer science, composites, plastics, or a related engineering discipline.
SWE Region H Scholarship
This award is open to female college sophomores, juniors, and seniors, and graduate students who are majoring in engineering or computer science and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students must be members of SWE and attend a school within the SWE Region H boundaries.
Michigan Accountancy Foundation Fifth/Graduate Year Scholarship Program
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who have a declared concentration in accounting and intend to be a CPA in Michigan. Students must have earned at least 120 credit hours by May of the application year and anticipate completion of Michigan CPA requirements in May of the year following application.
SET Educational Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is available for undergraduate students in Michigan who are attending or planning to attend an accredited, public university in Michigan. Selection of awards is based on academic merit, financial harship, and involvement with community service.
Dietrich and Betty Roth Scholarship
This scholarship is available for undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study in a field related to welding. Applicants must reside in Michigan or attend a college in Michigan.
