This journalist scholarship program consists of one $2,500 scholarship, made payable directly to the winning student’s educational institute. Female undergraduate and graduate students studying media, journalism, English, communications and related fields enrolled in school are eligible. The deadline is to be announced.

Christians in Journalism Scholarship
The Christians in Journalism Scholarship is provided annually for undergraduate students who are majoring in journalism at the University of Texas, Austin. Applicants must be born-again Christians and must demonstrate both activity within their church and strong academic performance.
Bess Whitehead Scott – Scribes Scholarship
The Bess Whitehead Scott – Scribes Scholarship is available for journalism and communications students in Texas who are 40 years of age or older. Award selection will be based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need.
