The PRCUA awards multiple annual scholarships for the purpose of providing financial assistance to students to earn undergraduate, graduate or professional degrees while actively celebrating their Polish heritage. This scholarship was established to honor the life of Craig D. Butler and to continue his legacy of integrity, generosity and service. Applicants must be of African-American descent, with a GPA of at east 3.0, pursuing higher education whether at a college, university or vocational-technical school.
Amber Grant
The Amber Grant honors the memory of a young woman, Amber Wigdahl, who died at the age of 19 – unable to fulfill her entrepreneurial dreams. In 2020, the Amber Grant has been doubled to $4,000. Earn any Amber Grant through November 2020, and you’ll be eligible for an additional $25,000 grant at the end of this year.

For the Minorities in STEM scholarship, the applicant should include information about organizations they’ve been a part of and/or what they’re done in their community to support and promote minority leadership. The winner will be announced no later then May 1.
The Tuwanna Marie Minority Scholarship Award
Application and supporting documents must be postmarked by April 1 and mailed to 3300 Hamilton Mill Rd STE 102-184, Buford, GA 30519. Be sure to attach essay, and verification of ACT score or GPA. The winner will be contacted by phone or email early July, and will receive a $1000 to use toward educational costs.
