I believe it is truly an incredible place. Classes can get tough, but it comes with the college experience. It is a community college without dorms, so be aware of that. We do not have any sports games (that I was ever aware of). And we have a variety of learning options, such as in-person learning, online, or hybrid (which consists of both in-person days and online days). The community is so fun and great. We have events happening practically every single day. Students and staff have done a great job at implementing community bonding events, such as pumpkin painting with coffee, tea, and candy during October/ November, and hosting movie nights (like the Barbie movie when it was released). Great school overall!

I think it’s a great quick college to get your degree. I am excited to transfer to southern Illinois university edwardsville. I think a four year university is just going to be a better fit for me rather than a community college. The professor Sarah Reiken is amazing! She tought physiology, and she was a great character. Very helpful and understanding

As a first time student of Lewis and Clark Community College or LC for short I think this is a great college. I'm very glad I decided to go here first before diving in head first for a university or something bigger. It has a wonderful selection of courses, amazing teachers, a great amount of clubs and after school activities , and so many more amazing things on campus. The college does so many amazing activities to make students feel welcomed and safe. A lot of career opportunities as well. It helped me discover myself better than high school.

I like Lewis and Clark and is a great starter school. The class sizes are small and you learn really well in them. Your professors know your names and will remember you even if you haven't had them in awhile. They always have on campus events where they five out free food and that is the best part of the school.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If i could go back in time, I would tell myself how important it is to take things seriously and do them promptly. I would also say that giving up is an answer to nothing, to not be ashamed to go to community college, that it's not the end but actually the beginning to a better life for myself. The only way to feel better about yourself is to do something to improve yourself, not thru guys or any myriad of other material things.
