What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Making the transition from high school to college can be tough, or it can be simple. The key thing is to start early. I would tell myself not only in my senior year, but my freshman year, to stay focused on school, and to always strive to be the best you can be. Thinking back to the start of my high school life, I honestly shouldve tried harder. I was so worried about what I looked like, and if my hair was okay, rather than the importance of the most precious thing on this earth, the future. I would have told myself to start applying for scholarships in junior year so that way I could get ahead. I would also say to worry about that 75{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} english test to get a better score to better my GPA, so that I can get into the University of my dreams. I know that no matter what the age, its never to late to pursue your dreams. Looking back now, I can honestly say that I should have prepared myself better for the future, whether its financially or educationally.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
This worst thing about my school is how small it is. I attend the Norco campus of Riverside Community College. The size of my campus limits the amount of classes which can occur and which classes are available. For example, my campus does not offer the science classes I need for the undergraduate part of my Biology degree. There are not as many class times available for me to choose from. This makes it a lot less convient for me. I am thinking about going to the main campus the next semester due to this.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
It is often very difficult to obtain the pre-requisite classes for many of the sciences. You are required to take Anatomy and Physiology for the majority of the medical programs (ie, Nursing, Physician Assistant, Paramedic, etc) and to register for this class is nearly impossible. Every semester, there are dozens of people attempting to add the 3 or 4 sections that RCC offers and no available openings.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
The environment leaves you completely in a soothed mood. It's a very odd but pleasant feeling, one that leaves you in wonderment. And this is because the campus isn't loud most of the time. It's especially pleasant when the breeze is calm and blowing all around you.
I just feel very safe and at peace. Schools that create such an atmosphere for me is a plus and thats what I always feel there.

What's unique about your campus?
The best thing about my school is the parking situation. When I attended the University of California, Riverside, it would take me sometimes 20 minutes to find a parking spot. When I transferred to Riverside Community College, the Norco campus, the first thing I noticed was how much easier it was to park and go to class compared to my old school. This gave me more time to study because I would not have to leave my house 20 to 30 minutes earlier to find parking. Also, the parking permits are relatively cheep.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
the school is not exclusive like a csu or uc so there will be a variety of people on campus. most if not all the students will be locals. the school is local and having 3 campuses makes it convenient to attend. if a class is not offered at your campus but at the nearest one, you can totally take that class at the other campus, just have to fit it into your schedule. that way you dont have to wait until next semester to move ahead.
