What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I have learned to get along with groups of very different personalities and work as a team. I have also learned time management skills to be able to get all my work load completed and still have a little time for fun and relaxation. The program here is intense, but the school is very highly regarded in the aerospace industry to I think graduating from here will be great for my future career and life.

What's unique about your campus?
The students are the best. Most of us were outcasts in high school and nerds, but here we are all nerds and it makes the conversations and activities interesting. Ireally feel like I belong.

Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
The school is very nice, there is a distance between the school and surrounding buildings so if students do not have a vehicle, it tends to be hard for some people to socialize outside of campus.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I mostly talk about the outstanding education staff here. They all have some for of military or government background and have a great personality to match their outstanding resume. Other things I mention are the connections you make with other students, since we're such a small campus. Sometimes, you'll find yourself with classes that upper classmen are taking, and since they're graduating before you, it gives you a chance to make connections with the corporate world before you even get out of school. Also, Air Force and Army play a large ROTC roll in Prescott.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
By far our tuition, it is equivalent to attending and Ivy League University. Just this year I had to sacrafice and take a loan out to pay for this years tuition of $60,000.

Describe your favorite campus traditions.
Embry Riddle is known for being the best school for aerospace engineering and the only school for GSIS major. Embry Riddle is also known for its success of employment post-graduation.

What kind of person should attend this school?
Anyone is welcome to attend this prestigous university, but if you don't want anything to do with aeronautical talk then this university could be difficult to attend. I have, however, met some very interesting business majors that do not care for the aeronautic aspect. They were very wise and knew a lot about the business world because of the excellent teaching staff.

What is your overall opinion of this school?
What a waist of time and A LOT OF MONEY! I would highly recommend NOT going to this college! Teachers are bored and only care about their paycheck. I'm over 90,000 in student loan debt and will probably pay it off when i'm 100 years old with what they are paying pilots today! If you're thinking about flight school please go somewhere else and save a TON of money. OR reconsider becoming a pilot all together! What a waist.

What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
That there is only pilots and predominately male are the typical stereotypes for ERAU.
There is actually more engineers and Global Security and Intelligence Studies majors than pilots (Aeronautical Science majors), but there is a 1:5 ratio of women to men.
